Local Produces
To get your holiday off to a good start we have provided you with
a Welcome Basket, which you will find in the fridge. All the items
are produced from within 10 miles of the cottage.
CORNISH NATURAL SPRING WATER
This bubbles up from the rock right here in St Clether parish. It is bottled by the Ham family, who are the main suppliers to the Eden Project and they now have many outlets throughout England. DAVIDSTOW CHEESE UNMISTAKABLY CORNISH.
This cheese is produced here on Davidstow moor, from fresh wholesome milk collected from dairy farms within the South West. It is marketed throughout England. One of the major outlets is Tesco’s and it also sells under the name of Cathedral City.
CORNISH FARMHOUSE BACON COMPANY.
This is the Uglow family run business. Their farm is in the village of Whitstone, where they breed and rear their own pigs, process it and sell it locally.
BRADLEY’S DAIRY.
Fresh dairy produce are produced from the Bradley's farm, which is next to the Delabole Wind Farm. You can purchase their dairy products from the garage shop next to the Wilsey Down Hotel on the A395.
AND LAST OF ALL TREFRANCK EGGS.
Layed by our very own free range chicken. Recently, one hen decided to start a nest under the azalea bush in the front garden, now you can’t get Fresher than that!.
