Places To Visit

Tintagel Castle - Tintagel is a marvellous family experience of mystery, myth and magic - a place where Kings rule and a legend was born. See it all, enjoy it all. Be inspired by 2000 years of history in the glorious setting of one of England's most stunning coastlines. You can see Atlantic breakers crash against the cliffs and through Merlin's cave as you climb the path to Tintagel Island. Explore the ruins of the 13th century stronghold of the Earls of Cornwall. Take the rugged trail across the island and experience the breathtaking views at the place where legend says Arthur was born to the beautiful Queen Igraine.

Bodmin Moor - Daphne du Maurier's description in Jamaica Inn captures the drama of the tors, whose granite has been weathered into precarious towers of rock - chief amongst which is the extraordinary Cheesewring. These stones are home to ravens, ferns, lichens, and mosses, while on the clitter-strewn slopes below, linnets and stonechats thrive amongst gorse and stunted thorn trees.

Eden Project - The Eden Project communicates its story in a ‘Living Theatre of Plants and People' based in a large crater in which nestle two vast greenhouses (Biomes).  These house plants, crops and landscapes from the humid tropics and warm temperate regions and act as a backdrop to the temperate landscape, which we call the Outdoor Biome.  Eden uses exhibitions, art, storytelling, workshops, lectures and events to put messages across to both the public and formal education groups.  The underlying concept presents to the widest possible public audience the need for environmental care through a celebration of what nature gives to us.

Flambards- Established nearly 30 years ago as the Cornwall Aircraft Park the Flambards Experience is one of the most popular days out in Cornwall. Not only does the Theme Park host the best thrill rides in Cornwall, but also the Flambards Victorian Village and Britain in the Blitz indoor attractions.

Dobwalls Adventure Park - The all action attraction includes one of the most extensive miniature railroad networks. Cornwall, Dobwalls, Liskeard, Welcome to Dobwalls Adventure Park a day to delight you. We have out door play areas with attractions for the big or small. Open most days
Morwellham Quay - An award-winning, evocative museum and visitor centre based around the historic port and mine workings on the River Tamar. In the heart of the spectacular Tamar Valley, amidst towering cliffs and gently rolling farmland, a lost world lives again.
Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station - This unique experience attracts over 80,000 visitors every year and with over 60 Giant Satellite dishes it is the Largest and Oldest Satellite Station on Earth! Set in the dramatic landscape of the Lizard Peninsula the giant dishes of Goonhilly Satellite Earth Station rise up from the heathland.
Gweek Seal Sanctuary - We have rescued many seals over the years, and most are well enough to be released back into the wild after treatment, but some seals, for various reasons, would not survive back in the wild, so we have them as our guests at the Sanctuary. In addition to the Grey and Common Seals, we have Californian and Patagonian Sea Lions. The Sanctuary also provides a much-needed haven for a variety of other animals, such as Otters, Ponies and Goats. Occasionally the Sanctuary's facilities and expertise are called upon to aid in the rescue of other marine creatures such as Dolphins and Turtles.
